I am still in Connecticut, living just outside of Hartford. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. With the exception of two people I saw sometime in the '80's I don't think I have seen anyone from Darien High School since around 1971 or so. I pulled out some old elementary school pictures from Hindley School just now and remembered most of the names. What a long time ago that was. Unfortunately I lost my high school yearbook somewhere along the way.

Hi people, Who would think we all would be keeping track of each other on computers. I'm pretty new on this machine even though my ex worked in high tech for years. Now it's my poor daughter who is teaching me. I lived in Mass. for years after graduation in various places. I moved to Cape Cod and stayed for a few years. I was married to a great guy for 23 years, then we decided to part company. He is still my best friend and I see him often and we are on the phone a few times a week. It is a good thing and we get along much better now. I have two daughters. My first is now a doctor and in her 1st year of internship in Cal. My 2nd one is 21 and works for one of the casinos here in Ct. They are both great kids. I have been struggling with a shoulder injury that happened in Feb. 04. After two surgeries it looks like I'll be having a 4th. To keep busy I crochet blankets and have been pretty successful selling them. Best wishes to all. Bette Grant Capasso

Did we get "Best Dressed" for our class?Jay and I have enjoyed living in Darien and raising our two sons here. My whole family is still here so we feel very fortunate. Our lives have stayed very much the same as when we were young . We still love to go out in the boat and go to Vermont. I worked at Hindley School for many years as a teaching assistant. I am currently the director of a foundation that helps people with spinal cord injuries throughout the state of CT. a year of change. my husband of 41 years, ken, retired on april first and proceeded to have rotator cuff surg. not the best start to leisure life! but healing is going well just too slow. my oldest son, kevin, who is a veterinarian and his wife amanda moved to glasgow scotland where she will be attending university of glasgow stugying vet med. my younger son gregory now has master plumbers lic. and his own business in rochester nh and still works for water co. in somersworth nh. his wife michelle is a dispatcher in dover. and the love of all of us , my grandson riley is now 7 and so much fun. me well i still work in maternal/child health and see retirement on the horizon. technology makes some jobs a little harder for dinosaurs like me so don't want to stay too long at the dance and not be viable. look forward to the 45th hope my date nancy leone jordan does too.
